These may also simply be called modules[1], since the definition of a (semi)module over a semiring works equally well as definition of a module over a ring. In other words, an R-"semimodule" is not actually a more general type of object for any given R, the generalization is merely in for which objects R the concept is defined at all. — xmath (talk) 10:35, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
