Validity of a review
editI've restored the Liz Bourke review on Tor.com that was removed from this article a few days ago. Its validity needs to be discussed. Not agreeing with a review of a book is not a valid reason to remove it. The claim that the reviewer has a "very low authority" doesn't hold water. Bourke has a Ph.D in Classics from Trinity College, Dublin,[1] and has written many reviews and articles at Tor.com,[2] a notable online science fiction and fantasy magazine. It's not clear what the suggestion that this review may be "agenda driven" is referring to. —Bruce1eetalk 11:29, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
- Bourke claims that all the characters are "cisgender straight people". Did we read the same book? Several characters were bisexual.Cashewnøtt (talk) 12:55, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
