I think your article offers a lot of interesting insights. I think the formatting looks good. Here are some suggestions for you to consider:

  • add a video of your town
  • add information on famous people and how they have contributed to Senlis
  • bullet points for "Senlis in cinema"
  • maybe a section "Senlis in the Current News"
  • local newspapers
  • Contemporary life
  • Food and culture
  • ethnicity/diversity - breakdown of population

Particularly interesting history section and good other additions to this entry. Well-written and clearly organized. Nice work on that aspect especially. A few things to address: 1) This part pasted below is not formatted correctly (and has a spelling mistake). Also, you should add this work to the bibliography. Senlis in Litterature

In A Writer at War 14-18, Edouard Coeurdevey describes the German destruction that he witnesses when visiting Senlis on the 6th June 1915.[7] On June 8th he wrote 'Senlis bonde d'Annamites'.

2) Also some additions about contemporary life would be good, per the comments above. I would suggest looking at local institutions, like unions, chambers of commerce, hospitals, companies based there, newspapers, schooling, etc. Did you try Google books? I did and found quite a bit there that might be relevant to adding a bit more to your entry.

Nice job! Radavis147 (talk) 01:58, 25 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Foch's HQ in WW1

Normally the German envoys for peace in 1918 would have come here. But the destruction by the Germans in Senlis had caused much ill feeling, so it was though more prudent to meet in the middle of a forest. That was the reason for the famous railway car at Compienge. Suggest this be properly sourced and put in the article. 95.149.54.90 (talk) 18:33, 26 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

– The Senlis in Oise is the most famous, and is the primary referent for the term. It has a population of 16,000, while the other two Senlis together have less than 500 people. Srnec (talk) 17:41, 29 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Dialogue with the Carmelites

André Berthomieu does not seem to have produced this, and it doesn't show in his bio either. It's the right movie since the year matches and the story is set in Senlis. Noted in case. Elinruby (talk) 10:20, 20 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
