Seo (surname) → Seo (Korean surname) – 1) Seo (Korean surname) is precise to distinguish the Korean surname from other oriental surname Xu, Hsu, Shyu, Su, or So with similar pronunciation. 2) "NAME (Korean surname)" is the naming convention. Seo (Korean surname) is appropriate for Template:Korean name which is put at the top of a biographical article to explain to readers which part of a Korean person's name is the family name. - Oppose Unnecessary precision, see WP:PRECISION. PatGallacher (talk) 19:49, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose per PatGallacher, which is the reason why I removed the {{Db-move}} template that the nominator placed on Seo (Korean surname). Steel1943 (talk) 20:06, 16 January 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:PRECISION; disambiguators should only be as precise as necessary. — AjaxSmack 01:57, 17 January 2015 (UTC)
