editWhy was this moved from Seo Taiji? As far as I know he is not known by the name Jeong Hyun Cheol? Kappa 01:45, 13 Nov 2004 (UTC)
I also can't understand this operation. Please explain reason of movement or move this article to Seo Taiji again.Cinnamon 05:24, 13 Nov 2004 (UTC)
I'll take a stab at this (even though I didn't move it). Jeong Hyun Cheol is Seo Taiji's real name. I really think the redirect should be the other way, though. I'd bet 99% of those searching for him would search by his stage name, not real name. Ameltzer 21:34, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Upper comments are written when moved from Seo Taiji to Jeong Hyun Cheol. That is, We said this article should be in Seo Taiji. It is the same opinion as you :) Cinnamon 23:08, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
I think the movement was correct. He doesn't go by his real name on his CDs, tour promotions, interviews, etc. Like Ameltzer stated, probably 99% of searches would be his stage name.
Seo Tai Ji not Seo Tai-ji
editAfter checking the inside booklets of 7th Issue, Seotaiji (his 6th album) Seotaiji and Boys III, the '95 Taiji Boys Concert, and another (a 1996 CD with a fish on the cover), it seems he prefers to spell his name as "Seo Tai Ji" but sometimes he is listed as just "Taiji" - I have never seen his name spelled with the hyphen. Why is the article called Seo Tai-ji? Darkpoet (talk) 03:25, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- I agree with you on this, in fact I have never seen his name written with a hyphen until I looked here. I personally think the most correct spelling is Seo Tai Ji because he refers to himself that way. --69.254.46.13 (talk) 18:45, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
