Dubious

edit

This reads like a Singaporean high school civics class textbook. Somewhere close to none of it is true. Singapore is a one-party machine government in which the opposition plays no role, the President plays no meaningful role, the various councils and committees have very little power, and the judiciary has only the very tiniest independence and even that never over a political matter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:6A:6905:5C00:219:E3FF:FE07:AF53 (talk) 23:58, 7 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

NPOV

edit

No... I don't have time to engage in this sort of crap. I have a job. Smuconlaw, this article is *your* crap. The NPOV label remains up until there is significant external support to remove it. I will undo any effort by Smuconlaw or anyone who appears to me to be a Singaporean national to remove the NPOV label. This article is garbage and you know that.

For anyone visiting, the history contains my revision. This article is too long, and too full of falsehoods, to treat nicely. How Singapore is really run is not a secret, and its government must not be permitted to pretend otherwise on Wikipedia. This article is using Wikipedia as a vector for propaganda. Its length intimidates editors who may not have the time to fix it. This article is an excellent example of why Wikipedia should not exist at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:6A:6955:2E00:219:E3FF:FE07:AF53 (talk) 11:43, 15 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Addition of "3P" tag

edit

@Pacerier: Could you please point out which "sources too closely associated with the subject" have been excessively relied upon? It's not clear to me why this tag applies to the article. — SMUconlaw (talk) 09:48, 5 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

It's been more than a week, and you haven't responded, so I have removed the tag for the time being. — SMUconlaw (talk) 08:38, 12 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
