Vladimir Ilyushin
editI removed from the lead section of this article the sentence:
- His son, Vladimir Ilyushin, and not Yuri Gagarin, is said to have been the first human in space.[1]
This allegation has in fact been made, but is almost certainly not true. Even if it is worthy of mention in this article, it doesn't warrant inclusion in the lead section. (sdsds - talk) 02:58, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Adding reference to the son to the infofield
editIn See also section of the article I see info on the son Vladimir Sergeyevich Ilyushin; if that is true I propse adding that info to children entry of the infobox. I am currently out of practice editing infoboxes and involved in something else, so if somebody else finds time to do it before I can (s)he is welcome. --Marjan Tomki SI (talk) 13:53, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
