Speedy deletion request by Nenyedi

edit

This page is a long overdue article on Sergio Marchionne, the well-respected CEO of the Fiat Group, who is widely credited with pulling them back from the brink. Taalo 00:09, 11 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Not notable, little information. Deltete. Nenyedi 23:32, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
No offense, but you really have no idea know what you are talking about here. Saying Marchionne is not notable is actually quite laughable. He is the Chief Executive Officer of a major industrial conglomerate. He is very well respected, in the same league as Renault-Nissan's Carlos Ghosn. A Google search brings up 158,000 hits! • Anyone want to warn or notify Nenyedi that he should stop posting the request for a speedy deletion? I believe an administrator already took a look at his "request" and my "hang on" and determined this was not an article to be deleted. I personally don't understand why his user doesn't have better things to do. :) Taalo 18:04, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • Nenyedi, please see action [2] by Admin Cyberjunkie and please stop trying to re-add the speedy deletion tag. This is border line vandalism for you to keep doing this based soley on your (rather bizarre) POV [3]. Also, by no means is it correct for you to go and blank edits on the talk page [4]. former article?

edit

There was an article about Sergio Marchionne last year, why he was deleted?--Blauer Heinrich 22:40, 11 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Italian-Canadian

edit

He isnt Italian-Canadian (a Canadian of Italian descent). He holds dual Canadian and Italian nationalities. He was born in Italy but he was raised in Canada. Chris Ssk talk 13:19, 17 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

He holds dual Canadian and Italian citizenship, not nationality. He is an Italian Canadian citizen of Italian nationality.--SandorKrasna (talk) 14:02, 1 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Notations?

edit

I just noticed that there are no references to this article newer than 2008, although there are details concerning events much after. What I was wondering about was the mention "famously loudly berated and fired a Chrysler employee" in 2009, I would like to know where that came from. Not "famous" enough for me, but then, I still think Paris Hilton is a hotel in France. Kid Bugs (talk) 03:02, 1 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Labor relations

edit

A major, current element missing from this biography (and from the Fiat page) is that fact that Marchionne/Fiat have been responsible for a major ideological/political/legal transformation in Italian labor relations essentially succeeding (I fully accept there are views pro and contra but in any event it is a revolutionary change in the economic and legal status quo in Italy that shouldn't be overlooked) in establishing the concept of local/regional labor agreements (a concept recognized in June 2011 legislation). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.56.102.127 (talk) 21:30, 9 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I agree this should be mentioned=) Lawtheagoraphobic (talk) 07:23, 25 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Manuela Battezzato

edit

Hi BasM, can you explain me why you always remove Manuela Battezzato from the infobox? She was Marchionne’s domestic partner for more than a decade and she was with him in Zurich until his death. -- Nick.mon (talk) 11:19, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

CommanderOzEvolved, I saw that you sent a massage to BabsM in his/her talk page, but he/she continues to revert well-sourced informations without any explanation, could you do something to stop this edit warring? Thank you :) -- Nick.mon (talk) 12:07, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hio. I noticed that BasM (talk · contribs) has also made some constructive edits in the past, but some of his recent ones were indeed disruptive. Also, as per WP:WAR, I'm not going to flag him for edit war on this page just yet. Wait and see what that user does next. CommanderOzEvolved (Comm-Net) (Action-Log) 12:16, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
He must have changed his username because I got this "user is unregistered" notice when viewing that user's profile. CommanderOzEvolved (Comm-Net) (Action-Log) 12:18, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
