Special-purpose accounts?

In December 2016 and January 2017, two accounts (Camp Sage (talk · contribs) and Sarialu (talk · contribs)) which have no other edits except to this article added significant content. Unfortunately, the content of each set of edits (Camp Sage's, Sarialu's) was too promotional for Wikipedia. They needs to be edited down. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 16:57, 13 February 2017 (UTC)

Note/update: There is not a total prohibition against editors using multiple accounts, including special-purpose accounts, but there is some advice on the matter (see the essay Wikipedia:Single-purpose account). It is also impossible for anyone but highly-privileged users (e.g those with WP:CHECKUSER privileges) to distinguish a new user whose first or only edits happen to be on the same topic from an existing editor using an alternative account.
