Educational assignment
editI welcome the fact that this article is to be an educational assignment for student User:Emarieg15 but need to point out that this is a fairly narrow concept. It obviously overlaps with other terminology up to a point which have their own Wikipedia articles eg dating abuse, sexual abuse, sexual harassment, sexual misconduct and slut shaming. Some overlap is inevitable - different academics may use different terminology for the same thing. In my view this article should basically stick to research where academics have chosen to use the "sexual bullying" term.--Penbat (talk) 18:46, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
- I will pass your concerns on to Emarie15. This student should be able to work within those parameters as we have pretty good access to a range of scholarly publications via our library. May I direct this student to you with questions if/when they come up? WritingTeacherC (talk) 03:40, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- Yes fine.--Penbat (talk) 10:08, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
- Hi User:Penbat, after looking into this topic, I would like to propose some possible changes to this article. After doing some research, it seems that "Sexual bullying" is a term primarily used in the UK. I propose that we include this information in the definition in order to keep a global perspective. Secondly, a possible alternative title for the section: "Who does what to whom" is "Types of interactions". Finally, I propose adding a section titled: "Associated effects and risks" with some research regarding sexual bullying and the associated mental and physical health effects. Please let me know your thoughts! Thank you Emarieg15 (talk) 20:17, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me.--Penbat (talk) 09:22, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

- Hey I definitely agree with your comments and believe more work is needed to improve the article's quality. For example, the lead section needs to be expanded to introduce the full scale of the article. Additionally, numerous links for citations no longer work! Bdan2525 (talk) 21:53, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hey I updated the introduction and definition section. Additional information is needed in the definition section to illustrate what the introduction is discussing. Additionally, the introduction needs more information to convey what the article is trying to say as a whole. Citations are also needed in the introduction. Bdan2525 (talk) 23:00, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- The content in the article is generally relevant to the topic of "sexual bullying" but at times focuses on regional statistics rather than general understandings. Furthermore, the article is relevantly up to date as it was written primarily five or more years ago. New information on the topic could definitely contribute to the quality of the article. Additional content in the article, such as a historical understanding of sexual bullying, case studies, and relevant laws and prevention measures, would significantly improve the article. As well, further content focused on adults who have experienced bullying would be critical. Bdan2525 (talk) 23:57, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- Okay so I have begun my edits on the page. I summarized the info that was repetitive and removed the info that was either didn't relate to the topic or wasn't written in a concise fashion. Tomorrow I am going to return and continue to improve the quality of the current works and add more sections in. For example, the last section that talks about the problems associated with sexual bullying will have different sections that will focus on the different groups that are affected. This is the second article I have edited so if you have any questions and concerns please reach out to me! Thank you Bdan2525 (talk) 04:26, 12 April 2023 (UTC)

Abandoned user draft
editPlease would user:Penbat or another interested editor assess the earlier draft at User:ThinkingTwice/project page/Sexual bullying, incorporate what is useful, blank that page as WP:COPYARTICLE, and leave a note here when done? – Fayenatic London 14:07, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
Obscure
editThis is a pretty obscure topic! AlexRobak2517 (talk) 02:10, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
