Murder case
editThere has been a series of reverts on the section about the murder case his son is involved in. The murder itself, and also Shaher Abdulhaks refusal to aid the investigation has been given lots of coverage in Norway and is backed by reliable sources, so it should not be removed without there being good reasons for it. Before blanking the section, please argue why it should be removed so we can avoid future edit wars and improve the article. Bjelleklang - talk 20:36, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
- You do not have the right to talk about him without his approval on it, this can lead to a courtcase. If he does not confirm this than you are under no right to talk about this. And because we do not have confirmed information about the murder or anything about mr shaher not agreeing to give information, it is just he media. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fine2014 (talk • contribs) 18:40, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
- @Fine2014: Wikipedia articles may contain negative information about a subject as long as the information is based on reliable sources, in this case the media you are referring to. The murder case has been widely covered by Norwegian newspapers, and members of the national assembly has been threatened with legal action by Shaher Abdulhak after getting involved in the case, as reported by three (if not more) of the biggest mainstream newssites/papers in Norway. Please review the policy regarding biographies of living persons. If you believe that this article doesn't conform to that policy, please make a comment on this page so that may be discussed. Take out murder part, as it is illegal to do such an action without authorization from the person himself. Fine2014 (talk) 18:37, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
- Not done: Disagree. Everything here is sourced and couched in appropriate language. However, I'm not entirely convinced this isn't a WP:BLP1E, every single source besides a dead link to what is probably one of his companies, is about the murder case. Cannolis (talk) 19:28, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
