editShahyar was behind some of the most celebrated songs of pre-revolution Iran. I fondly remember them: Ferydoon Forooghi; Farhad Mehrad and many others owe their best to him. As for the political views he had and has a right to his views. If our people decided to learn the wrong lesson then they should bear the burden not the poet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.177.220.152 (talk) 05:37, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
Not so sure
editI am not so sure about his political views. That is what happens when you have censorship. A lesson which the West should learn. With "Political Correctness" and banning of "Hate Speech" we are rushing to emulate the Shah's Progressive; yet Repressive system. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.177.220.152 (talk) 06:25, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
