Two Shakis

edit

Actually, there was and there is two Shakis, one now a city in Azerbaijan, this article is about, the second is Sahl ibn Sumbat's Shaki, is now a small village over Vorotan river near the city Sisian, in nowadays Armenia, in the historical province of Zangezur. For example, prominent Azeri actress Barat Shakinskaya is from the second one, Sheki of Zangezur. Ateshi - Baghavan 18:22, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Is there a Wiki article on the other Shaki?Hajji Piruz 18:25, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Actually, its the same Shaki. Iranica says its the Shaki to the north of Arran.Hajji Piruz 20:10, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
it was definitely, another Shaki. Because Babek was guesting in Sahl ibn Sumbat's house in his way to BYsantium. First Shaki is not on the way to Bysantium, but the second Shaki is.Ateshi - Baghavan 19:48, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
No OR or POV, Iranica says its the Shaki in the north of Arran.Hajji Piruz 19:58, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Maybe due to the location of Babak's activities, it makes sense that that Shaki of Shal Ibn Sunbat has been in a more southern place, in nowadays Armenia. Buut still there are other indications which pints to the Arranian Shaki --Babakexorramdin 18:43, 18 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

The weather box I added has a problem in daily maximum temperature, November and October Values are too close to each other, exactly the same situation is in its source. I don’t know what to do about it.PAper GOL (talk) 11:04, 22 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
