Need Help for Content Edition & Improvement

Need Help for Shalby Hospitals' Content Editing and Improvement Mukesh8120 (talk) 09:13, 9 January 2017 (UTC)

Hello, I am an employee of Shalby Hospitals and want to change the content of Shalby Hospital wikipedia page but I am faced problem during editing. When I did some changes in content, it was reverted to same as previous content within 10 minutes from other users. So, I need help to edit the following content on Shalby Hospitals' Wikipedia page.

I want to do following changes in page.

1. Replace first two lines of page with following paragraph. You can also do changes in following paragraph.

Shalby Hospitals located in Ahmedabad, was established in the year 1994 as a Joint Replacement centre by Dr. Vikram Shah, who is a specialized knee-replacement surgeon. The core Philosophy remains is to “Take Expert health care to doorstep”. The multi-specialty hospitals chain is located in the states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab. Besides hospital units, Shalby has established over 60 Patient Outreach Clinics (OPD Centres) across India, including the remotest areas, to help people benefit from expert healthcare. The quality of healthcare services has been continually endorsed by accreditation institutions like NABH, NABL, ISO 9001:2008 and recognized by prestigious awards like Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award, FICCI Operational Excellence Award.

2. "Overview" Section is ok. I don't want to do any changes in this section.

3. I want to add "Corporate Social Responsibility" section below overview section. If possible add following content in this section. If you think it is not good then please modify it.

Dr. Vikram I. Shah has founded a Charitable Trust under the banner - I.C. Shah Charitable Trust. Under the aegis of this Trust, Shalby Hospitals extends medical treatment to the needy, from any part of the country.

On the CSR front, Shalby is very active with its Free Health Awareness Talks & Diagnostic Camps, even in the remotest part of the country. Shalby so far has conducted more than 800 diagnostic camps and 700 health awareness talks for the prevention and treatment of a host of ailments.

The fulfillment of CSR has helped Shalby to carve a niche name in the field of expert healthcare.

4. I want to add one more text under "Awards & Achievements" section. Please add following award under Awards section.

@Mukesh8120: I have explained my reasons why I think the specific changes that you have suggested should not be made - Wikipedia is not an extension of your corporate website. To aid your understanding of the issues here, you could take a look at some of the Wikipedia policies referred to above. I will continue to make changes to the article to improve it. 5. I want to add additional citations for verification. Please add following reliable citations to improve article.

6. I want to do minor changes in first paragraph and history section.

In first paragraph, I want to remove location "Goa" and instead of that i want to add location "Rajasthan". And want to see this in following manner:

Hey Drchriswilliams, please replace the locations Vapi, Jabalpur, Goa and Punjab with this locations Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan. I do not want to see cities name. And we are no more available in Goa so please remove Goa from the locations and add Rajasthan. I have verified all the details with shalby hospital and then changed here. You know that I am working with shalby hospitals. Please do the changes as I required. Its very important for us. And figure is also verified so please update it. Where Shalby runs a hospital in a city then it is appropriate to list it as such. Wikipedia is not an extension of your website. Please provide a reference relating to your claims around Goa. Drchriswilliams (talk) 07:48, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

I agree with your opinion but shalby hospital has already mentioned the state name so that's why I am requesting you to keep it same. And, We haven't leaked any information about our Goa location, So I just kindly request to you please add rajasthan in list. You can verify our location of rajasthan by searching in Google like shalby hospital + rajasthan..you will get address of our rajasthan hospital. Mukesh8120 (talk) 08:04, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

•  Done The Free Press Journal is a newspaper and I have added this figure, although the article that contains it is nowhere near the good quality that Wikipedia should use. Regarding your suggestion that directs me to your corporate site- I'll again try to remind you that this is not a place to try and host your corporate content and will not be using material taken directly from your website.
