Doncram, why was the village in Derbyshire that was originally at Shallcross moved and this dab page created? Isn't the village in Derbyshire the primary topic? The other two uses are a Durban, South Africa suburb that doesn't even have an article, and an obscure historical house in Kentucky. Per WP:TWODABS the article about the village should be here, with a hatnote link to the other use. --Born2cycle (talk) 05:13, 30 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
i did it that way first, setting up hatnote link. But then "what links here" shows many/most/lots links coming from South Africa. So then i decided it is 3 article topics, and needs a dab, tho i hesitated to start the South African one as i don't know much for there. Since u ask, i started it now, at Shallcross, Durban. So TWODABS doesn't apply now. Hopefully u won't complain about the article, a v. short stub. I did revise Template:Durban suburbs but i think the incoming links from its many applications won't update quickly. Hope this is okay by u. I'll watch here. --Doncram (talk) 05:25, 30 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
P.S. In case u'r wondering, i was onto Shallcross because i am working on architect articles, and found it useful to create the Kentucky one to support the William B. Wood disambiguation page and the William B. Wood (architect) stub. Has nothing to do with me going around and combatting oneword placenames outside of the U.S.; i don't do that. I think the Shallcross article had no Talk page, either, suggesting it was not watched, not important, as an indicator it is not hugely primary, so i just made the move, rather than asking. U watching there, or u watching me? Just curious. --Doncram (talk) 05:31, 30 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
