Caps and goals
editPlease do not take the totals from NZ Football thinking the governing body would know how many times they played, because NZ football count all appearances or the All Whites including unofficial internationals against club sides and select XIs, which is not the information we should be recording here. An example: Campbell Banks, listed by NZFootball as having 6 caps and 2 goals can be seen at RSSSF to have played 6 matches in 2006, but only 3 were full internationals - 1 against Malaysia and 2 against Chile. The other 3 games were against Charlton, Blackburn and Sevilla which do not count as full internationals for statistics purposes. This is also borne out by Jeremy Ruane's site which lists full A-international line-ups overall stats and A-international goals. Vicelich is listed by NZ football as having his debut against Denmark U-23, clearly not a full international. --ClubOranjeT 10:47, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
