Shanghailander
editSuggest that the title be Shanghailander rather than Shanghighlander. This is consistent, for instance, with the source Wasserstein, Secret War in Shanghai, Houghton Mifflin Company, 1999. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.210.113.99 (talk) 15:40, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- I agree; "Shanghailander" is the standard usage; see also Robert A. Bickers, "Empire Made Me: An Englishman Adrift in Shanghai" (Columbia, 2003)--BaiGuang (talk) 16:52, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
- Article title is incorrect. Shanghailander is redirected to History of Shanghai. Shanghailander is a redirection. So this article should ideally be merged with the History of Shanghai or a administrator looks at removing the redirect and to a move request to the proper name. - Subject is suitable for an article, but the title is wrongly spelt: it should be 'Shanghailander'. Furthermore, the article has been edited to include irrelevant material about central European refugees in Shanghai, who were not of 'British descent', i.e. not 'Shanghailanders'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.98.154.125 (talk) 21:50, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

Merge to Shanghailander
editCorrect spelling's article had been improperly blanked. I've restored it and moved appropriate material there already. Should be uncontroversial (see discussion above). Just need to have an admin merge the talk and histories. — LlywelynII 11:24, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
