This page should not be speedily deleted because Shannon Wiratchai is an important figure in Thai sports. That being said, he is a leading figure of mixed martial arts in Thailand, helping to spread awareness of the sport in the country. He is also currently competing for a major MMA organization: ONE Championship. And he is one of the few successful mixed martial artists from Thailand in the organization, whereas most successful Thai athletes in ONE are Muay Thai fighters. He has fought in 15 fights, 13 of which were with ONE Championship. His background and fighting style are also what sets him apart from other Thai combat sports athletes. Furthermore, extensive research was done in the process of writing of this article, with all sources cited. While most sources are from the ONE Championship official website, information used from the aforementioned sources are strictly facts and not opinionated. In fact, I strongly believe every part of this article on Shannon Wiratchai states only facts and gives relevant information. This page should remain because, while he is no world champion, Shannon Wiratchai is a pioneering figure in Thai MMA and has introduced a country that's only known Muay Thai to an entirely new sport. I hope this will be taken into consideration.
