Redundancy

edit

It now says twice in the first paragraph that SSCLI is the reference implementation. It that really necessary? --tyomitch 01:39, 2 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Up-to-dateness

edit

"The current version of SSCLI is 2.0, which contains most of the classes and features of version 2.0 of the .NET Framework[1]. Unlike the previous version however, it is only supported on Windows XP SP2."

I would guess this statement is severely out of date (Vista, anyone?). Does anyone know? Jalwikip (talk) 09:45, 3 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

The download page has not changed, it's still XP. As there are no download page more recent than 2006 (see here), it seems to me that they let SSCLI die slowly. Hervegirod (talk) 13:07, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

SSCLI is very outdated compared to the Mono stack. There is where most developer go for reference on how .NET works. Also classes from the Mono stack is free to modify and use in your own applications. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Falde (talkcontribs) 11:41, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
