As of March 2015 shark finning is once again permitted in Costa Rica by President Solis, possibly as a perk to the Chinese for investing in Costa Ricas infrastructure primarily the new hi-way from San Jose to Limon. the timing of the announcement of the hi-way contract to the Chinese and the shark finning law revised are obviously more than coincidental. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MEA626 (talk • contribs) 21:35, 4 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
