School lessons
editI have a question for school. How do children on a sheep station go to school/ get to school? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thalia grace (talk • contribs) 13:52, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Australian children who live on remote sheep stations attend the School of the Air, while children who live on sheep stations closer to town, attend schools in the town. Hope this helps. Figaro (talk) 15:41, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
- Closer in, there is correspondence school. You get the weekly lessons in a bag off the mail run, and send it back next week. School of the air is only for remote places, that did not have a weekly mail run or whatever. Wendy.krieger (talk) 06:03, 26 November 2014 (UTC)
thanks that helps a lot! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thalia grace (talk • contribs) 14:49, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
