Just moving the following sentence over from the main article space, since it concerns material we might later use to improve the article but that doesn't presently exist (we generally keep such material out of article space per WP:SELF:

"Note: Before his death in 2008 the paper's long-serving reporter & columnist Peter Harvey was compiling a Who Was Who of the old Sheffield daily, and in time it is hoped a copy of this will be deposited in the Sheffield City Libraries archives. In the meantime, former colleagues of Harvey's are planning to continue adding to the list."

This looks like it should be a great reference for the article once it's available, and I'm glad Harvey's colleagues are keen to contribute.
