The article, while otherwise ok, seems slightly weighted more towards picturing the subject as a 'proto-socialist' without considering his religious views. Page move without consensus

@TheEagle107, I've noticed that you have moved this page without seeking consensus in an RM. While this is perfectly acceptable for uncontroversial moves, I would argue that this is not an uncontroversial move, and a review of the evidence is necessary. As far as I know "Sheikh Bedreddin" is by far the most WP:COMMONNAME for this person. Uness232 (talk) 03:07, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

Here are the statistics of the search results in the Google search:

• Sheikh Bedreddin (About 20,900 results)
• Badr al-Din Simawi (About 67,500 results)
• Badr al-Din al-Simawi (About 68,600 results)--TheEagle107 (talk) 20:02, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

This would make sense, but the Google search results for "Bad-al Din al-Simawi" show results of many other people unrelated to him. Google Scholar meanwhile, shows 232 results for Sheikh Bedreddin, 158 for Shaykh Bedreddin, and only 2 for Badr-al Din-al Simawi.

The name most familiar to readers has always been Sheikh Bedreddin, and calling religious people by their titles (see Mevlânâ), is very common in Turkey. Uness232 (talk) 20:20, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

I think in his searches, he did not put Badr al-Din al-Simawi in quotes. I wouldn't mind this if the results that show up when you neglect this wasn't so different. Uness232 (talk) 20:24, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
