A number of English-language sources say that the MKEK-7 was the THK-2; however, these same sources say that the THK-15 became the MKEK-1 and ignore the MKEK-4 designation completely! --Rlandmann (talk) 01:45, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
- Jane's 1956/7 has the KEK-7 as ex-THK-2, the MKEK-4 without a THK number and the MKEK-7 as ex-THK-2. They normally get their info from the manufacturer. Their complete list is
- MKEK-3 tandem jet trainer, no detail
- MKEK-4 Ugur tandem piston trainer
- MKEK-5 ex-THK-5 (and a for both) twin engine light transport
- MKEK-6 ex-THK-14 two training sailplane
- MKEK-7 ex-THK-2 single seat low wing aerobatic trainer. The photo shows a THK-2, because itsays so on the tail! Can't check the MKEK-7 bit so easily.

The otherwise apparently well-researched testpilot.ru site contains a note about an altitude record of 512 metres being set in 1935 in a Sh-5. Since this seems far too low for the era (unqualified, at any rate - what kind of altitude record?) I've commented it out for now until further verification can be found. --Rlandmann (talk) 21:04, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
