editShould we have separate articles on each brother, perhaps just stubs pointing to this article? Besides anything else, we could then let them have birth categories. - Runcorn 19:23, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
early music
editWhere is your source that Judy Harriet ever recorded Tall Paul? I see no reference elsewhere of anyone other than Annette recording it, and she (Annette) recorded several more Sherman Brothers songs (First Name Initial (#20), O Dio Mio (#8) and Pineapple Princess (#11) were all written by the Sherman Brothers and were hits in 1959-60. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.206.208.227 (talk) 11:53, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
confusion/merge
editthere's some extra info on the The Best Time Of Your Life and The Glorious Fourth pages that may be better suited over here than on those two pages. Any of you Sherman-editors want to take a stab at consolidation/updating? SpikeJones 19:41, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
This article implies that the Sherman Brothers were brothers and shared the same father. The Sherman Brothers were actually cousins. 71.95.208.142 (talk) 23:15, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[Frank]
Stage musicals
editThe Sherman brothers only wrote new songs for Chitty and not for Mary Poppins as stated. New songs for Poppins were written by Styles and Drew. Also, only Mary Poppins was produced by Cameron Mackintosh and Disney. Chitty was produced independently. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jagm2 (talk • contribs) 18:27, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Extraordinary undocumented claim
edit"While at Disney, the Sherman Brothers wrote more motion-picture musical scores than any other songwriters in the history of film." Can we see a citation for this, other than a reference to an unlinked video interview with one of the Shermans? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.188.142.56 (talk) 13:45, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
