Better photo

edit

Does any one have a better public domain photo of She Shan, like the one on the Kung Foundation page? [1]

I would like to add a photo of She Shan to Roman Catholic Marian churches but the current photo is just not panoramic. If you have a photo please add it to Commons and leave a message here on this page and I will use it. Thank you. History2007 (talk) 20:19, 24 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

No Holy Cross

edit

Interestingly, the Basilica has no Cross at its top. Was it removed (stolen) during "Culutural" Revolution or at some other point of time or was is made by design (weird to be honest)? 91.241.62.173 (talk) 11:43, 8 June 2017 (UTC)JGReply

The style is NOT romanesque

edit

Romanesque style describes a particular style that existed in early middle ages in Europe. Any building build after 10th century, that seems "romanesque" is a part of a 19th century larger style called "historism" which collects "neo" styles such as neoromanesque or neorenaissance. In this case the cathedral seems either neogothic or neoromanesque. 78.11.217.96 (talk) 19:04, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
