editWhat a bunch of nonsense. Cane swords were almost universally made in meiji times, most of them for the tourist market. Some were worn by Samurai trying to hide their daisho after swords were forbidden. But they were never worn by ninja! This is an anime/manga myth! --91.17.247.194 (talk) 06:56, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
