The result of the move request was: moved. The question of whether "Station" should be capitalized was raised here, but if this were to be changed, it would require a broader discussion since it affects many other similar articles, and is currently the subject of a guideline at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Japan-related articles § Train and subway stations (closed by non-admin page mover) Colin M (talk) 14:57, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
Shin-Ochanomizu Station → Shin-ochanomizu Station – Correcting capitalisation of station name (in its proper name, the O should not be capitalised) JaventheAldericky (talk) 01:12, 5 March 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. 🐶 EpicPupper (he/him | talk) 01:38, 12 March 2022 (UTC)

- Shin-Ochanomizu Station is wholly unsourced. I think, it should be renamed to Shin-Ochanomizu station. TheBirdsShedTears (talk) 02:51, 5 March 2022 (UTC)

- The common name seems to be Shin-ochanomizu, so that sounds fine to me. The capitalization is a different topic. Station is generally speaking not part of the station's proper name and thus is usually not capitalized. To keep things consistent we should discuss this for all Tokyo Metro stations, not here. --PhiH (talk) 17:19, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
- MOS:JA is of relevance here, where it is stated that "Station" is to be capitalized. A consensus to decapitalize "Station" preferably should include *all* railway station articles of Japan, not just Tokyo Metro's. Nyamo Kurosawa (talk) 22:19, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
- Support Shin-ochanomizu Station per nom and the overall state of MOS:JA at present. Let's use the proper name and styling as directed by our current policies and guidelines. — Shibbolethink (♔ ♕) 22:26, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
