Oliver Owns Up

Is this the Thomas Story for every single episode in Season 1? EdGl 03:39, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

"No. That's just spam. The stories for every single episode in Season 1 are Thomas episodes from seasons 1-2, and, they had RINGO STARR."

Brian O'Connor deceased?

Is the actor who played Schemer dead? I've heard several different versions (all as hearsay), but no concrete evidence...

Playhouse Disney - a hoax?

What happened to this being on Playhouse Disney??? All 'net mentions I saw have been removed.

  • It is a big, fat, huge hoax. Shining Time Station will not and I repeat will NOT appear on Playhouse Disney. It never has and it never will.

DVD

Are Shining Time Station Episodes on DVD?

No, they didn't make DVD's back then. -Memphis15. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.237.219.225 (talk) 16:18, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Stacy/Stacey Jones

Is it Stacy Jones or Stacey Jones? The article contains both spellings. -- Wonderstruck 01:26, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

  • It's Stacy according to the IMDB, so I fixed it.

The opening credits prove it, too. 97.104.148.10 (talk) 22:36, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Theme Song

Who did the theme song? 67.188.172.165 03:26, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

The late Joe Raposo, who also wrote music for "Sesame Street" and "The Electric Company", and I believe, the theme from "Three's Company." (Could someone verify this?) --Steve Worek

The song was sung by Kevin Roth (that is the Shinning time station from the 1990's on PBS) Paulchwd (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 19:14, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Broadcast

Since when is Shining Time Station airing on the Disney Channel? I checked around and nothing says that it airs on there. -Rosepuff12 00:43, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Sigh* This was the work of a spammer who wants to trick people into thinking it will happen when it obviously won't... Disney doesn't even own the rights to STS and Thomas anyway! --BigThomasFan 01:49, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
That's what I thought I just wasn't sure. Thanks for clearing it up. -Rosepuff12 19:17, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Something I Thought Of

As I was putting together the table for the songs by the Jukebox Band, an idea formed in my head. What if this information was added to the table with the episodes? It could very easily fit on the end, and it might be a better idea to have all of the information in one place. What do you think? --PAK Man Talk 14:54, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

UK

Since the show never aired in the UK, Im guessing its because of the differneces between the UK and US Versions, Such as George Carlin as narrator and Trucks are Freight Cars and The Fat Controller is Sir Topham Hatt - Bladez636 (talk · contribs)

Fair use rationale for Image:Shiningtimestationlogo.jpg

Image:Shiningtimestationlogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Jukebox Puppet Band Songs

We need to complete the song list, which I added onto the episode list. But we need to make sure that we match the right songs. Also some of the songs are repeated in different episodes with remixed versions. We can't forget those.

Washout

For reasons unexplained, in the episode "Washout" when Mr. Conductor tells the story "Bertie's Chase" the beginning (Edward waiting for Thomas) was omitted. This scene was also omitted from the James In A Mess picture book for unexplained reasons, but in the Mr. Conductor's Thomas Tales episode, "Splish, Splash, Splosh", and in all VHS and DVD releases, the episode is in its entirety.

The Reason for this, was that it featured random flashes that would have caused some kids to have Seizures and they could not risk this.

The same thing happened with the Pilot episode of Pokemon that aired only in it entirety in Japan, but later aired in America cleaned up with the problem parts removed.

I got this information from an E-mail to a friend at PBS

--Kopicz (talk) 12:58, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

It's would HAVE! Not would OF. And another thing: I don't see any flashes in the beginning of that episode when I see it on VHS and DVD. No flashes at all! There has to be a more logical reason for this! WikiLubber (talk) 21:04, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

Thomas Story dispute

This user whose name escapes me keeps posting information about Thomas stories in season 3 that is entirely false! I demand to know WHY he keeps doing it! WikiLubber (talk) 00:29, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Plus, if he keeps doing it again, I demand that this page be only open for registered users. WikiLubber (talk) 12:47, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Merger proposal

I have suggested that Mr. Conductor's Thomas Tales be merged into this article. The content is just a duplicate.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:26, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

I agree. WikiLubber (talk) 14:26, 27 July 2011 (UTC)

Protect this page

Can something be done to protect this page so that users won't mess with the Thomas Stories in seasons 2-3? WikiLubber (talk) 20:41, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

This page is officially protected for the next 3 months. WikiLubber (talk) 21:51, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
