Welcome to the discussion page for Shipwrecked: Battle of the Islands 2008 there will be a general list of rules for editing this page when the show is released. However over the last two years the previous pages have lacked any general common ground on what information will be put on.
The following rules will be enforced
- The format used in the 2007 Series for tribe division will suffice.
- No information on contestant confirmations until released by Channel 4/Islandoo. TV Promotions and Website Promotions (if they can be backed up) will be used.
- Slang will not be used - remember that people who read this article have to understand it.
- To comply with general rules within wikipedia, trivia and episode descriptions will not be allowed. Those descriptions on the official Channel 4 website do not meet the standards this site expects
- Vandalism will not be tolerated as well. If you submit a willing post but cannot be backed up by a legitimate source it will be removed - please do not add it back on. Anything removed must be noted down on this page and adding your IP address/wikipedia user name for verification.
Any problems do not hesitate to contact myself Windog 2008 15:12, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- And who are you to make up these rules over and above Wikipedia (WP) policies and guidelines ? Anyone interested in a quick guide to what WP is about can read the WP:Five pillars, and to prevent any arguments about spoilers, see Wikipedia:Content disclaimer - Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. -- John (Daytona2 · Talk · Contribs) 18:10, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Shipwrecked-Logo.jpg
editImage:Shipwrecked-Logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
