editWhy is her date of birth only given partially (without year)? WTF is that!? Or was it purposefully deleted? 196.25.25.67 (talk) 05:16, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
March 2011 Biography Update
editBiography Update March, 2011 She hosted the official online streams for both the grammy's and the oscar's this year - so I figure it is time to build a decent wikipedia entry for her, since she would likely be getting queried and searched on a lot more. I am in the process of doing this now, along with a bit of an overhaul of this page Cubrilovic (talk)

editShira Lazar is a real person. I'm not sure why this re-directs to the cartoon character She-ra. www.shiralazar.com
OK, it's not much of an article, but I wanted to put something to avoid the re-direct to She-Ra (who isn't real). Mrguido45 (talk)
What the hell qualifies Shira Lazar for a wiki page? There are millions of more accomplished people than her without one and she is merely a self-promoter from what I see. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.238.149.73 (talk) 06:27, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
I don't know that she's particularly noteworthy, but has one or two notable projects. She is at least noteworthy enough that I tried to look herup here, but un-noteworthy enough that I got re-directed to the fictional character She-ra, who is He-man's sister. Question about her time at Dawson College, I went to Dawson and I've never heard of the "Daily Planet" newspaper. Perhaps you mean The Plant (newspaper) Aron G, Eh? (talk) 12:28, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Shira should NOT have a wiki page. She is not accomplished in the least except for being Dov's step sister. Come on, really! Aron1 has it right, she is lying about her past because she was probably born sometime in the early 70s, not 80s. Does she think people are idiots? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikepolkfan (talk • contribs) 08:06, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
Missing Controversy?
editI'm a bit surprised that there's not a section in this wiki covering Lazar's "What's Trending" blog erroneously reporting the death of Steve Jobs before it had actually happened. It was enough for CBS to sever ties with the blog and Lazar, and should be included since it is notable. References here, here, and here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.1.36.249 (talk) 15:56, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
The section has been added.Mttech (talk) 19:10, 21 July 2013 (UTC)
This BLP is an absolute mess.
editAs of 2023, this BLP reads more like a CV or resume than a bio, and it looks as though this entire BLP was written by a PR firm. At least there is a note at the top, and rightfully so. These edits shouldn't be allowed to remain, and more than likely should have never been made in the first place. Mttech (talk) 18:49, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
