Shirley Banfield (cricketer) → Shirley Banfield – The current redirect for "Shirley Banfield" is pointing to the article Murder of Don Banfield. The cricketer appears to be notable, and thus would be the WP:PTOPIC over a non-notable woman who is mentioned in an article on a crime. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 20:08, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. Shirley Banfield was convicted of Don Banfield's murder, with the conviction later overturned; much more than a "mention". The cricketer barely meets WP:NSPORT. No objection to making Shirley Banfield a dabpage. 162 etc. (talk) 21:54, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose per basic Gbooks test before submitting an RM. WP:NOPRIMARY at most but happy with current redirect to the notable murderer. In ictu oculi (talk) 18:06, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
- Convert to DAB There doesn't seem to be a primary topic here, given that the current target is a redirect. I'd prefer that the redirect is moved to a suitable disambiguation (not my area so not sure what that would be) and the base be converted into a disambiguation page.
