Permission of the mamzer?
editCould someone add the story of how he was matir a mamzer lavo lakhal? Bobover1 01:37, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- He was no different to many other poskim who do this everyday using all sorts of heterim. IZAK (talk) 03:40, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not so sure it was "no different" than many others, if Bobover1 is referring to the 1972 psak din know as "The Brother and Sister Verdict" that over a period of years caused a storm in Israeli public opinion for touching on matters of civil marriage. I suggest this is pertinent for inclusion on Rabbi Goren's page. -- Deborahjay (talk) 15:01, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Unsupported information
edit- "Goren, who was a strong supporter of alliances between Evangelical Christians and Israel, also denounced meetings between Israel and the Holy See, calling it "blasphemy beyond expression."
This affirmation is not supported in a credible source.--Samuel bn Jerut (talk) 17:55, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
