Note: I am not a professional editor - so I hope that i have done a good job and been true to wiki style.

I saw the notice that this article is considered self-promoting, poorly written, and that the subject is not notable.

The writing did appear to me to be unprofessional - several times it read like a brochure, or perhaps like it was lifted from his own linkedin page - phrases like 'he supported many charities including..." "he helped take many companies public including..." I have edited out all of the promotional language and deleted the extraneous flowery language - 'he then went on to earn his degree and professorship...'

In terms of Mr. Kalish being notable - I imagine that the editor who said this is not familiar with the huge tech scene in Israel - where Kalish is very well known and respected as one of the founding fathers. Editors are likely not fully familiar with the Hebrew press which writes about Kalish almost daily. I would contend that his role in one of Israel's biggest industries has impacted millions of lives and so I would think that would qualify as notable.

Would be interested to hear other opinions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.161.168.174 (talk) 19:36, 14 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
