I have noticed that the article has been tagged for general notability. I believe the subject of the article is inherently notable, because:
He was the commander of the Gaza Division, which IMO is inherently notable. Not only is a division commander a very high and important post, the Gaza Division's actions in particular has very important consequences for Israel and the residents of the Gaza Strip. By comparison, there's an article on Aviv Kochavi, who is notable only for being the commander of the division, although I realize that bringing up another subject who has an article isn't automatic justification to create more articles of the same type.
He commanded the Golani Brigade, which is one of the most important combat units in the IDF and its actions, again, often have serious consequences for Israel and its enemies.
He was involved in a locally important media scandal, which in itself is more notable than many other media scandals which have articles on Wikipedia. On the same note, he was also fired from the IDF, which is extremely rare for soldiers of his rank.
