"Demands?"
editThe lyrics don't really describe a man who demands specific things in women. It's about his own personal fantasy of an ideal woman.
Chuck
editShould it be added to the Trivia section that this song is used as the Opening for the NBC TV show, Chuck? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.235.110.56 (talk) 00:55, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
"unconventional style"
editGiven the statement "They are seen displaying a wide range of favorable and unfavorable reactions to the unconventional style of the song...", the article should explain what makes the style unconventional. //Blaxthos ( t / c ) 22:00, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
They stole it from Lou Reed, that makes it unconventional - @Jou1n Lolcaster —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.176.218.156 (talk) 19:50, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
Music Video
editThis song apparently does not have a music video, but the video described here is for CAKE's No Phone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.76.87.90 (talk) 21:48, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
- The song does have a music video, not sure how you missed it. The article contains the first official version but not any of the other versions. Here is a link to the New York City version of the video. I don't think it can be added to the article though because it isn't an officially authorized upload like the main video. Couldn't find the Mexico City or Vancouver videos unfortunately. -- 109.77.244.255 (talk) 11:58, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
Reviews
editFound review of Comfort Eagle which mentions Short Skirt/Long Jacked and it makes some of the Lou Reed comparisons others have made previously, but were dismissed as original research. -- 109.79.117.29 (talk) 11:58, 8 July 2014 (UTC)
