The part (Cleveland, Ohio) is used to clarify a common name used for Catholic churches with Polish parishes. There are several "St. Stanislaus" churches in Ohio. As a shrine church is not a common recognized type of church designation, keeping the (Cleveland, Ohio) fits the title convention, Name of Thing (at Place), and users will get better suggestions using the wikipedia search box. Wikipedia:Article titles suggests adding "distinguishing information, often in the form of a description in parentheses after the name"; the location is the easily understood distinguishing information about the article than the shrine part of the official name. The words that come directly before your quoted material are "it is sometimes necessary to add". In this case, the location is an unnecessary detail for the article title. Please review the precision and disambiguation section of the policy page for more guidance. I did read precision and disambiguation. Thank you. My reasoning is that the natural search terms will most likely start with "St Stanislaus" and the user will probably land on the St. Stanislaus Church disambiguation page. That page still has the previous name of this church St. Stanislaus Church (Cleveland, Ohio) which was used before the church was designated a shrine church. St. Stanislaus Church (Cleveland, Ohio) was then moved/renamed to Shrine Church of St. Stanislaus (Cleveland, Ohio). Three properties of the title remained the same; the proper name, St. Stanislaus; the parent class, Church or its child class Shrine Church; and, the context, Cleveland, Ohio. I don't understand how a vertical change of the class removes the context.

I think you're making this more complicated than it needs to be. Parenthetical words in article titles (like "Cleveland, Ohio" in this instance) are considered disambiguation, and are typically used when there's no primary topic. Since this is the only Shrine Church of St. Stanislaus in the world, there's no need to disambiguate the title. Here's another example: Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist (Cleveland, Ohio) has disambiguation in the article title, since there are lots of other churches with the same name. However, the Cathedral of St. John in the Wilderness in Denver doesn't have disambiguation in its title, because there's little chance of confusing it with other churches.

You also don't need to worry about search results, because both of this article's former titles exist as redirects. Anyone typing those names into the search box will still land here, and we can create more redirects if there's a need. - Eureka Lott 23:28, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
