Move request to decapitalize all Chinese dynasty articles
editThere's a move request to decapitalize "dynasty" in the Chinese dynasty articles, as in Han Dynasty → Han dynasty. For more information and to give your input, see [1]. --Cold Season (talk) 18:28, 15 March 2014 (UTC)
How is this a dynasty?
editA dynasty is a succession of rulers from the same family. There's only 1 person here, so not a dynasty. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.161.124.230 (talk) 05:56, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
- The term "dynasty" may be used to delimit the era too. The Xin dynasty also had only one emperor, but it was still a dynasty. --Cartakes (talk) 10:52, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
