Yes, and Rapper's Delight sampled the riff from Chic's Good Times (Chic song), which was the disco song I was thinking of.

Above is a chronological listing of the weeks this song spent on the Billboard Hot 100. It affirms the change I made to the song's debut date, as well as its peak position and peak date a week later. There was no May 13, 2008 issue of Billboard; the song debuted on May 17, 2008. Reference #8 is a broken link, and should be replaced by the list I've presented above.
