Early discussion
editIt is not clear whether this article is about the "group" or about the "person." Read this first sentence...
"Shwayze(born Aaron Smith, May 29, 1986) is an alternative hip hop duo from Malibu, California, newly formed with Whitestarr frontman Cisco Adler and aspiring rapper Shwayze."
And, to paraphrase: SHWAYZE (who is a person with a name and a birthdate) is a hip holohjfjqrefn p DUO featuring Cisco and SHWAYZE.
Somebody needs to decide what this is and adjust accordingly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Superwesman (talk • contribs) 18:44, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
Does anybody wanna put "second studio album" in the discography? Gorx9395 (talk) 03:08, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Now thats Shwayze's second album has a name, Let It Beat, can someone make an article and add all the information listed in this article? Also can someone add it into the discography? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gorx9395 (talk • contribs) 03:13, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
This article needs to be written more formally. Examples of informal phrasing:
- "they received much love," (suggestion: "they received a great deal of praise for...")
- "He has a really bright fashion sense," (also borders on being an opinion; suggestion: "he often wears brightly colored clothing")
- "He has a really bright fashion sense and you can tell that it is 70's and 80's influenced." (suggestion: delete bold words) MyGenericUsernameHere (talk) 12:15, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
i think we should change the genre from pop and rap and make it rap and acoustic rock, because that is what it is. You have Shwayze rapping and then you have Cisco adler playing soft acoustic sounds in the background and singing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SkinnyWest (talk • contribs) 18:46, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Complete rewrite
editAlthough the people who have been working on this article have done a valiant job, I think this article may need to be re-written entirely in order to help others get information about Shwayze. I think we should compile a list of reliable resources that we can get our information from as well. The article is kind of confusing and it is not written in formal prose. Everyone is welcome to help. Thanks! 67.188.12.15 (talk) 02:30, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
