Sicamous Hotel pix
editHere are the six items in BC Archives of the old hotel, which was a railway hotel and part of CP Hotels and should ultimately have its own article; one of these can be used with PDCanada-50 license for the article, I don't know which is best at this point:
- main search at BC Archives
- Sicamous Hotel and lake, 1920s
- Sicamous Hotel, c.1880 (date would really be later '80s, as railway construction hadn't started yet in 1880)
- Sicamous Hotel, date undetermined
- Sicamous Hotel and station, 1912
- Sicamous Hotel, 1947
Probably the 1880s one is the most likely to be OK for public domain use. The one with the train and station maybe good for use one the railway hotels page, though. Might be other pics in VPL or Nat'l Archives or Kamloops Museum collection.Skookum1 (talk) 03:41, 27 June 2013 (UTC)

Sicamous, British Columbia → Sicamous – Name is unique as town name, only secondary uses is for the sternwheeler named for the town, target is redirect to current title. Canadian disambiguation rules per CANSTYLE say unique town/city names take no disambiguation. Skookum1 (talk) 04:13, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
- Support. The town is clearly the primary topic for the precise name "Sicamous". —seav (talk) 00:26, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
