I removed the WikiProject Texas tag. Playing a season or two of minor league ball in the Texas League doesn't seem like a reason to include him in the Texas project. Hawaii project would be a very good place to add El Sid though... —Wknight94 (talk) 00:43, 12 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Really? The Portuguese version of that surname is Fernandes (with an S), not Fernandez (Spanish). Either the Portuguese Heritage Foundation made a terrible mistake or Sid Fernandez is ashamed of his Spanish (or Puerto Rican) Roots.
