Neither of the listed references has sufficient evidence of notability. There is no published article about him. All that the references show is a listing of Sidney McKnight's defeat (newspaper) and minimum data from COC:
First Name: Sidney
Last Name: McKnight
Born: 8/31/1955
Gender: Male
Birth Place: , ,
Residence: Prince George, British Columbia, Canada
Height: cm
Weight: kg

Summer Olympics - 1976 Montreal Boxing Light Flyweight (48kg) - M
Sidney McKnight deserves a listing in Olympic results, Boxing at the 1976 Summer Olympics, but not an article. He is not separately notable.--Bejnar05:23, 15 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I am listing this article for Deletion because Sidney McKnight is not notable. I know that there are those who will say that being in the Olympics is in itself sufficient for notabilty. I respectfully disagree. Something needs to be published about the person, other than the barebones Canadian Olympic Committee database bio and the one line entries in newspaper tables that report the Olympics. Sidney McKnight has no other publication existance. He wasn't worth writing about. --Bejnar20:45, 24 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
