Not the maximum expansion

A fine article except for the section Implications. Capture of Belgrade was not the maximum expansion the empire reached. In 1908, the Austrians were able to capture Bosnia and Herzegovina . Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 13:00, 29 January 2011 (UTC)

Not the commander

In section Implications it is claimed that "Turkish army led by a former French general and former Austrian general, Humbaraci Ahmed Pasha...". Humbaracı Ahmet served in the Ottoman Empire and tried to reform the artillery units of the army. But he was not the commander. The commander was Ivaz Mehmet Pasha .I'll try to reach the contributor. Not my Fault

I am sorry if the article does not make sense, but I ran in through Google Translator and the words in French were clearly translated into English. If you want, you can edit the article and improve it, but please don't accuse me of being the fault of the article's nonsense. American Idiot1 (talk) 00:49, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Have I sounded accusing ? By all means no! I only want to improve the text. That's all. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 06:36, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

I changed the name Humbaracı Ahmet→İvaz Mehmet. I further noticed that the name of the commanders in the sidebox were linked to irrevelant pages. So I cleared out the links. (Mustafa to a disambig. page and Halil to a general lived in the early 20th century) Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 06:55, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

The use of present tense

It should be corrected to past tense. Chris the speller yack 21:04, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
