"Siege"?
editWe shouldn't be calling this operation a "siege" unless non-opposition sources do the same. It doesn't fit the defninition of a siege – the Syrian Army didn't surround the town until the opposition gave up; it invaded the town (without waiting) and occupied it. It also bombarded parts of the town from the sea. Unless such sources ar found I'll revert to the name "August 2011 Latakia operation". ~Asarlaí 01:27, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
- Support I think more reasonable name would be "2011 al-Ramel camp clashes" or something like that, since the violence was located in and around the palestinian camp, there are articles named like "Battle of Yarmouk Camp" etc. Latakia has been spared from the violence of syrian conficlt apart from this palestinian incident in 2011.
