Could abbreviate ER
editUsing 'endoplasmic reticulum' over and over is tedious and makes the wording unwieldy and unclear. We should change some to 'ER', as is custom even in scientific papers, but I am unfamiliar with the wikipedia abbreviation rules. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.54.50.47 (talk) 20:17, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
Does this apply to all new proteins or which ones
editThe introduction says "specific" proteins, but later it sounds like all new/nascent proteins have the n-terminal that SRPs bind to. Can we clarify please. - Rod57 (talk) 09:51, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
How is the protein synthesis enabled
editHow does the release of the protein into the ER allow the ribosome to make more protein ? Is there one SRP per ribosome ? - Rod57 (talk) 09:55, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
