I am sorry for the boring list of dates and sources where the name appears. It is necessary, however, in the long run as there are some people adhering to the Götaland theory who claim that the mainstream version of Swedish history is a forgery from the 17th century and that the place was in their favourite province Westrogothia.--Wiglaf 20:24, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)
