I'll review this. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 21:46, 12 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

The image is copyrighted and has an appropriate FUR. Sources all seem reliable for what they are used for.

  • "Silsila follows the incidents faced by Amit and Shobha in their forced marriage, which drifts them apart": "drift" is more usually used as an intransitive verb, but in any case I'm not clear what this means. For two people to drift apart, they have to be close initially, but this is a forced marriage.
  • The mention of casting in the lead doesn't tell the reader why it attracted attention. In fact it's not really clear in the body either -- I think you mean that the love triangle in the film is mirrored by a similar love triangle that the gossip columns were speculating about among the three actors playing those parts.
  • A copyedit is needed; there are some grammatical and usage problems. An example: "from November 1980 and May 1981" -- "from" implies starting at a date; two dates implies a range. I suspect this should be "from November 1980 to May 1981", if that's the intended meaning. Another: "after failed with action films": I think you mean "failing" or "having failed". Another: "his banner Yash Raj Films" -- I don't know what "banner" means here. There are multiple other similar issues.

The writing is the main concern; I would recommend asking a WP:GOCE copyeditor to go over the article. I'll place the nomination on hold for now. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 12:47, 13 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Mike Christie: I am sorry for my poor grammar; honestly, I have no idea why it can't get any better. WP:GOCE editors usually takes a month or more to take up requests. Although I have no problem if I have to wait, I don't want to abandon this nomination for too long. Do you mind if you have to wait? —Nicholas Michael Halim (talk) 12:58, 13 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm OK with waiting for a while. Let's post the request and see how long it takes; if you mention it's an open GA review and a short article you might be able to get a quicker response. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 13:03, 13 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Nicholas Michael Halim, any idea when this might get a copyedit? Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 08:43, 20 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Mike Christie: Probably in two or three months. I am not sure. —Nicholas Michael Halim (talk) 08:45, 20 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
OK -- I'm going to have to fail this in that case -- it does need a copyedit before it can be promoted. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 08:50, 20 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
