hexagonal AgBr
editThe description of the sensitivity of FCC AgBr is great. But now we have T-grain films, with the hexagonal form of AgI stabilized by a small amount (I don't know how much) AgI. And yet the same process works! Gah4 (talk) 22:04, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
to produce small, uniform crystals
editHigh contrast photographic materials use uniform sized crystals, as indicated. To decrease the contrast, crystals are made in a range of sizes, with the larger ones more sensitive than smaller ones. Gah4 (talk) 07:28, 6 July 2024 (UTC)
