Hey, I'm going to be reviewing this article. Expect comments by the end of the week. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 17:55, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Basic stuff and comments

edit
  • Try moving references in the lead to the body of the article.
  •    The references in the lead are there because the statements in it have been challenged before; I expect they would be again challenged if the references were removed. jp×g 20:12, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Add a serial comma after "e-girls".
  • Add a comma after the first use of "Too Short".
  • What could possibly help readers in describing "Mr. Simp Sexual"?
  •    The term is usually employed (at least in memes) alongside a sort of character vignette, whose description is otherwise lacking from the article. I chose this one since it's not just a random post, it's a post that is deliberately included as an exemplar of the archetype in an article from a reliable source. jp×g 20:12, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • "described use of" → "described the use of"
  • Remove the comma after "written on it".
  •  ? This one I have a minor objection to, since the sentence is extremely long and has multiple clauses in it. I will still do it if you are totally certain that it should be that way. jp×g 20:07, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • "time of announcement" → "time of the announcement"
  • References are already archived.
  • Optional, but linking sources through "|website=" helps readers.
